⛰ Shidong Hot Spring Worthit!

I know it’s a bit too warm to do a hot spring in Kaohsiung.

But Adventurers! You won’t regret finding it as it is still highly recommended to soak in the natural hot spring on a chilly night!

Shidong Hot Spring is situated in Taoyuan District in Kaohsiung.

You can park your car here and it takes about 1-2 hours to reach easily by foot 🙂

There are also Qikeng Hot Spring (七坑溫泉), Shikeng Hot Spring (十坑溫泉), Shisankeng Hot Spring(十三坑溫泉) and many others natural hot springs nearby awaited you to explore (as they all located at Baolai River 寶來溪)!

The roads in the valley are generally covered with gravel but still are quite flat to walk on.

Otherwise, you can drive your 4WD.

You might come across several creeks with depth to the thigh, so make sure you wear clothes and (river tracing) shoes that can be soaked fully in the water.

Make sure to pick a safe place to set up your tents. ⛺
There might be some stones falling from the side hills. 🪨

The water temperature is about 41 degrees ♨.
Perfect place to end your day in the hot springs with a glass of wine on hand 🍷!
